Into the Dark All That We Destroy Review
Best episode hands down
The episodes of this evidence take all been very average but this i is genius. It took me a while to sympathize what was going on (I hadn't read the synopsis on hither), but once it got going information technology was intriguing throughout. And what an amazing performance from the main actor Israel B. He blew me away, he was phenomenal. Really believable. The mother however I was not a fan of. Could have cast a improve actress. However my favourite episode. Well done.

The almost unrealistic thing...
Virtually this movie is the guy just goes for a walk. Comes upon a cute and unmarried girl that needs his help, she bakes him cookies, invites him on a appointment and gets him hooked up with a task? The heck? This is more of a crazy fantasy than the actual story itself.

Blackness Mirror Toys R Us version
Best thing almost this is the one is the similarities to Black Mirror and Frank Whaley! More than poor writing this time with rude people awkwardly saying things. Super weird ane not as bad or good every bit others make it seem. Spencer (Israel Broussard) kinda made information technology worse equally it went on!

For an boilerplate movie = 5, For a Free HULU movie = 8
Warning: Spoilers
PROS:
- The flick was definitely dark and mysterious
- More intellectual than cheap explosions and mindless gore
- Good acting
- Interesting concept - cloning, how far is likewise far?
- Story unfolds like an union - layer past layer - each adding to the darkness
- Mama really loved her son!
CONS:
- Ever seen the motion-picture show, 'Groundhog Twenty-four hour period' - well, basically the same with this. The story repeats itself over and over, with only slight variations on each reset.
- The story may have moved a bit slower than I would have liked, I suppose they were trying to build suspense, just I didn't really feel it.
- The catastrophe was too predictable, I'chiliad not looking for some mind-blowing finale, just there could have been a fiddling effort put into it (this is my biggest hang-up)
- Mama actually loved her son! (Maybe a bit too much)
BOTTOM LINE: I'd say l/50 on the pros v cons. Far better than nearly movies FREE on HULU. If you don't desire to pay to rent a movie, this is worth watching.

Absolute Garbage
Stilted acting, a dragging story, plot holes, American clichés - this crapshoot has it all. When I saw the two actors were walking through the garden and talking in one of the opening scenes, I knew I was in for a rough ride. It was like they were acting for the first fourth dimension; no real emotional content in their words, and with poor reaction timing to 1 another's lines to boot. I gave this film a chance based on the positive review left by the just other user review here, but I was utterly disappointed, and frankly disgusted by what I saw. "All That We Destroy" very nearly encompasses all that we detest about modern film.
The unabridged "Into the Nighttime" series has been i vanilla motion picture after another, but this 1 hits a new low. It is completely devoid of the horror attribute, unlike others in the series - this is a thriller with balmy gore, NOT a horror moving-picture show. After 70 minutes of dragging its feet through a painfully dull parade of mediocre interim and bland scenery, "All That Nosotros Destroy" picks up just in time to end 10 mintues later with one of those 'Look! See? We're making a betoken here!' type endings.

Into the Night-All that We destroy-Splendid execution of story.
Warning: Spoilers
I rank this in the acme iii of the Into the Dark series. The story makes you feel information technology is real. Information technology makes you feel as if it has, can, or will occur with future technology. Samantha Mathis is wonderfully brilliant. This was Aurora Perrineau'south second installment, and she leveled upward. Spencer from childhood builds up and gives insight on the heed of could be, would be, and is a homicidal psychopath. The installment catches you from the outset and gives you an ending you hope will happen.

Definitely the best episode so far
This was my favorite of all of the 'Into the Dark' series on Hulu. It reminded me of Black Mirror, how it was set in the future with crazy new technology. I really liked the sci-fi horror blend. There is a twist at the end that makes me want at that place to be a follow up.
The acting was incredible in this episode. There were a few moments that seemed a little bit unrealistic in terms of what a grapheme would decide to practise. Like for instance, I don't sympathize why Maurissa was so set on breaking into the primary graphic symbol'southward business firm. Simply to avert whatever real spoilers, I only accept to say at that place are many twists and turns in the story line that kept information technology interesting throughout. You will savour this ane if you liked Black Mirror or Ex Machina. It's a little different style wise than whatsoever of the by Into the Dark episodes but I ended up preferring this. My second favorite episode was probably "Down."

im fasinatied with the premise.
Warning: Spoilers
Spoilers. The thought that there is a murder gene seems a petty far fetched. Now our psychopathic adversary existence compelled to desire to murder girls is very much debatable . We all have thoughts which are illegal and fifty-fifty immoral simply the vast bulk seemingly dont act on these evil desires. the existent question is it just an increased chance or is information technology a 100 correlation ? i accept ever considered its simply an increased chance...not a guaranty.

All That We Destroy
Alarm: Spoilers
Ane of the worst episodes of this prove, if not the worst, and that is saying something.
They were trying to go for this smart, Blackness Mirror style episode, only information technology just did not piece of work. Painful to watch.

BLACK MIRROR for idiots
I didn't think it possible, merely Blumhouse's INTO THE Dark series simply gets worse with every single installment - "All That We Destroy" is and so bland, lifeless and ho-hum that it's a 18-carat endurance test to sit down through. Stilted performances abound, but the actors are washed no favors by paper-thin, highly-expositional dialoge. The editing seems off besides - scenes play on for too long and awkwardly. Cinematography is flat and banal, and numerous scenes are shot against nearly colorless outdoor backgrounds. Virtually of the storyline seems to be filler (what's upwardly with the dumb VR convos with Frank Whaley? Were they just able to become him for a day?) Repetition is the name of the game hither. Wanna see the aforementioned extra killed over and again in the exact same way? You'll get that hither. And yous'll want to impale yourself long before the credits roll.
It's thematically shallow every bit well, never going beyongd a gradeschooler'southward pondering of killer instinct. And the "twist ending" only comes as a surprise if y'all've never seen a moving-picture show or television show before. This thing is incompetent across the board, and based on the low bar set, information technology's doubtful that INTO THE DARK will last much longer. Difficult pass.

Awful.
Chekhov's gun all over the place. Probably 5 or vi examples of scenes that showed something and then never e'er addressed information technology again. Hulu or whoever are trying to replicate " black mirror " and they are failing. Embarrassingly. Information technology's like they took all the scripts from people laughed out of legit anthology makers offices and hulu was like "hell, we'll take information technology."

Loved it.
I actually hate this "blackness mirror for idiots" matter people are saying on here. Information technology has a black mirror vibe merely more than of an early on black mirror. Definitely not the fourth season...that crap was garbage. Anyways this motion-picture show is interesting from start to finish and I loved the catastrophe. Very satisfying. Dark, odd, and scifi all things I honey.

Then so banal
Theres very fiddling that grabs you, nix that makes you care near the story. Every scene I was watching and hoping for something to happen merely instead all I got was a bland question, answer, question, answer, next scene type of moving-picture show. The only way I got through the movie was hoping something would happen but ultimately, anything that did happen, didnt carry any weight.

Circumvolve of Lives
Wow...My ii little crushes from decades past: Samantha Mathis and Frank Whaley, are all grown up and...erstwhile.
On a contempo Shock Waves Podcast with the Director of this, Chelsea Stardust, I heard this was described as "Psycho" meets "Nosotros Need to Talk About Kevin." Well, they got the "Psycho" part right, but I'd say it was more the Ex Machina/Psycho episode of Black Mirror. Hell, it totally uses the aforementioned engineering science found in the Black Mirror series.
Anyways, this Hulu original series from that podcast host, Blumhouse ("Into the Dark,") was pretty adept. Moody, interesting and well-acted, by Mathis, anyways. It was somewhat predictable - especially the ending and sometimes hollow like in that location was so much more here, simply budget restraints and a probable fourth dimension-limit for this serial, halted further exploration.
Mom is definitely trying to help son be anyone simply...himself. He seems to be having problems with keeping her genetic projects alive. To put information technology mildly. Will he crumble all her research before she can save him from him? See for your bloody self!
(That was a pun to sympathize if you did, in fact, run into this.)
Like I said above, if you liked Psycho, Ex Machina and Black Mirror, yous're probably gonna like this. It's an interesting tale, well-shot and quick at 85 minutes. Take a look at what the futurity may bring and try to stop.
***
Concluding thoughts: Merely to clarify, I merely had a "girl-crush" on Mathis when she starred in the quintessential coming-of-age movie of mine: 1990's Pump Upwardly the Book.

characters or writing make it hard to bask
I don't know if information technology's how the characters are written or the Writing in full general but this movie cruel apartment. In that location was a bespeak in the moving-picture show where I had no connection to any character & that kind of bellyaching me. I feel like if I was able to brand a connection with whatever of the characters and then i would accept given this movie more credit. Even the editing was kind of weird with the flashbacks so that annoyed me too.

WTH was that?!
Just the worst of this series then far, a bunch of context-less murdering serves more than to repulse the viewer than to entice into watching more than. I hung with it till the end and though context was FINALLY provided information technology however didn't make up for overall revulsion of the story. Yeah, it'due south a cautionary tale of clone-corruption but it should've been done much more tastefully.

A pretty practiced episode similar to what you lot'd expect from Black Mirror. And then with THAT ENDING, it turned into a very skilful episode similar to what you'd expect from Black Mirror

Alert: Spoilers
A child smashing clones to death, created by his mother, in fits of rage hoping to find the perfect sexual partner. What could be more 2020's than this? All the actors played their parts perfectly, especially Israel. I think it was a mistake to kill Marissa but I wasn't there writing the script. A chip of a messy ending merely, really, this brusque piece is such a wonderful mirror to the times we alive in. Bravo!

Absurd
Warning: Spoilers
This is another where I didn't see the hate for the movie. The acting all around adept, and very good writing. The theme though I couldn't actually selection up on in this one. It's very strange how they made you experience for these characters equally horrible every bit they might be. A son with homicidal addictions from killing a girl and his two dogs when he was younger. A mother who is trying to help cure those addictions by cloning a girl over and over so she can slowly ween off her son of these addictions. A male parent who is trying to warn the mother of the issue but just won't mind. A mother will truly do annihilation for her son in this ane. As slow going as it might seem, worth a watch with a squeamish twist, fitting ending.

Recycled plot
It has a recycled plot of the time loop thing and you never really feel sorry for whatever of the characters. None of them are likable. That beingness said this Tv set Show/ Film was somewhat entertaining and kept y'all interested but in the end merely didn't go out me wanting more.

Intriguing merely oddly paced
I struggled a bit with this entry. I think it would have worked better as a short motion picture. That being said Chelsea Stardust (Satanic Panic) directs the proceedings well enough and gets some strong performances from her talented cast which include oddly sexy State of israel Brossuard (Happy Decease Day) and a very welcome Samantha Mathis. The movie centers around a scientist whose also a mother. She has managed to create clones. She uses her discovery to ressurect a girl her son brutally murdered over and again in Hope's ofcuring his murderous ambition. The film's master problem isn't its excessive mean spirit, it'south mostly the odd pacing that continually takes you out of the moving-picture show. Because of that it's difficult to be completely immersed. That beingness said it is an intriguing film and fits perfectly in Hulu's Into the Night horror album series. Because it pushes boundaries and explores new footing for better or worse. Mothers Twenty-four hour period episode.

That girl Marissa deserved to die. Any sane person would've called the cops if they knew their friend could be hanging out with a wanted murderer, after getting no replies from him. The mother was the existent villain, and got away with it
